His first track was The Come Up and never Cared. He made his SoundCloud debut with the mixtape, THE OFFICIAL polo.g SOUND CLOUD. Gang With Me marked his debut hit single, which was immediately followed by a second hit track,"Finer Things. The track was recorded during his time in prison. The song became his breakout single and garnered millions of views on YouTube and brought him into limelight. After a while, record labels started showing interest in him. The rapper finally agreed to a distribution agreement for his record label Columbia Records and released Pop Out with Lil Tjay. Polo G's debut hit single made it onto the Billboard Hot 100 at number 22. The song was watched by millions of people the music on YouTube. Over time, Polo G became a YouTube phenomenon and earned some recognition on other platforms, including Instagram and Twitter.
